Interesting website! We lived in Geilenkirchen Germany for 4 years, 1990 - 1994, and met with a Michael Bauernfeind who lives/lived close to Munich. He did much research on the Bauernfeind family name -- seems my branch (one of the three founding brothers) lived in Austria but I've never discovered where. Is your family originally from Austria?
